I don’t really remember my life as a straight line.
I remember fragments.
Light, People, Places
I’ve carried a camera with me through different cities, countries, homes, and versions of my life.
Through leaving, arriving, staying, starting again.
Through different places and different versions of myself. The photographs were never really about the places. They were about what happened inside them.
These images are not arranged chronologically.
They don't belong to one place or one period of my life.

Sometimes a photograph is the only thing left of a moment you didn't know was the most important at the time.
They are pieces.
I photograph to hold onto those moments — not perfectly, but somehow. To catch the feeling before it disappears, the things that exist for a second and then become memory.
Pieces of people, places, nights, mornings, encounters, and LIFE in between.
A kind of personal archive of things I saw, things I felt, and moments I wasn't ready to let disappear.
